SYNWELL’s first tracker in European landed in Northern Macedonia

In 2022, Europe became a growth pole for domestic PV exports. Affected by regional conflicts, the overall energy market in Europe has been troubled. Northern Macedonia has formulated an ambitious plan that will close its coal-fired power plants by 2027, and replace them with solar parks, wind farms and gas plants.

Northern Macedonia is a mountainous, landlocked country in the middle of the Balkans in southern Europe. It borders the Republic of Bulgaria to the east, the Republic of Greece to the south, the Republic of Albania to the west, and the Republic of Serbia to the north. Almost the entire territory of Northern Macedonia lies between 41°~41.5° north latitude and 20.5°~23° east longitude, covering an area of 25,700 square kilometers.

Taking this opportunity, the first supply agreement of Synwell new energy in Europe was successfully signed at the beginning of this year. After several rounds of technical communication and scheme discussion, our trackers were finally on board. In August, the first set of tracker trial assembly was completed with our colleague’s cooperation overseas.

The maximum wind resistance of the solar support is 216 km/h, and the maximum wind resistance of the solar tracking support is 150 km/h (greater than category 13 typhoon). The new solar module support system represented by solar single-axis tracking bracket and solar dual-axis tracking bracket, compared with the traditional fixed bracket (the number of solar panels is the same), can greatly improve the energy generation of solar modules. The energy generation of solar single-axis tracking bracket can be increased up to 25%. And solar two-axis support can even improve by 40 to 60 percent. This time the customer used a single axis tracking system of SYNWELL.

Synwell new energy service and product quality was affirmed and praised by the customer during the period. Thus the second phase contract of the same project came along and Synwell new energy got a fastest repeat customer.
